Product identification
Goods Brought to the Company
When submitting a customs declaration, it is mandatory to include the 10-digit commodity code (TARIC). As the Company performs customs declaration services on behalf of the Customer, the Customer must provide the applicable 10-digit commodity code (TARIC) for each Product in a timely manner whenever a customs declaration is required.
The TARIC (Integrated Tariff of the European Union) is a multilingual database that consolidates all EU customs tariff, commercial, and agricultural legislation.
By integrating and codifying these measures, TARIC ensures their uniform application across all EU Member States and provides economic operators with a clear understanding of the measures applicable when importing goods into or exporting goods from the European Union. Additionally, TARIC supports the collection of EU-wide statistical data related to these measures.
E.g. Gasoil

Goods blended at the Company
When Products are blended, the resulting Blended Product may fall under a different classification than its individual components. To ensure continued customs compliance, the Customer must provide the applicable 10-digit commodity code (TARIC) for each Blended Product.
Correctness of the Taric code
The Company shall make reasonable efforts to verify the TARIC code provided by the Customer, based on the information and documentation made available. However, the accuracy and correctness of the TARIC code shall remain the sole responsibility of the Customer.
Commercial description
To ensure accurate identification of the Product, the Customer shall provide a correct and complete Product description in addition to the corresponding 10-digit commodity code (TARIC).
