Operations

From an operational and logistical perspective, the physical terminal process consists of the following steps:

1.   
  1. Arrival of the product at the terminal by vessel, barge, truck, rail, or pipeline;
    2.    Transfer
  2. Receipt of the product fromand transfer between the mode of transport toand the storage tank;
    3.   
  3. Storage of the product,product andand, inwhere some casesapplicable, blending, transfer of product from one tank-to-tank to another,transfers, or other limited handling operations;
    4.   
  4. Transfer of the product from the storage tank to the designated mode of transport;
    5.transport for onward shipment;
  5. Dispatch of goods.the product from the terminal.
